Neighbors feeding neighbors since 1998
Harborlight Community Kitchen serves 12,000 hot meals a month — no questions asked, everyone welcome.
Our mission
We believe no one in our city should go hungry. What started as a single soup pot in a church basement is now a network of three community kitchens, a food rescue van, and over 200 volunteers — powered entirely by donations from people like you.
What we do
Community kitchen
Hot lunch served daily, 11am–2pm. Vegetarian options always available.
Food rescue
Groceries collected from local stores before they go to waste — 4 tons rescued last month.
Youth meals
Free weekend cooking classes for kids and teens, plus a summer lunch program.
Senior outreach
Grocery boxes and home-cooked meals delivered to homebound seniors every Friday.
I came for the free lunch when times were tough. Five years later I run the Saturday packing crew. This place gave me back my dignity — now I get to pass it on.
A hot meal costs $3.20. How many will you give?
Monthly givers keep our stoves on all year. Cancel anytime — every dollar stays in the neighborhood.
